Pepper’s First Words
Pepper keeps on doing babytalk for a while now. It started with the word “la”. Then after couple weeks we heard her saying “na”, “ta”, and she just keeps on repeating it. If we say “no,no,no”, she always shakes her head and says “na,na,na”. If we say “hi”, she will wave her hand or say “ha”.
Now we’re trying to teach her how to say daddy and mommy. It’s easier for her to say “da” and she keeps saying it “da,da,da” everytime she heard or see her daddy. Then recently she started to say “mom-mom” .
At 9 1/2 months she can understand a lot of words already. She knows who is Mommy and Daddy, and of course her favorite toy Baby El. She knows what to do if you will say “clapping” or “clap your hands”. If you’ll say “where’s your tummy?” then she will rub her tummy. If we ask “where’s daddy’s nose” ( or mommy’s nose)? then she will hold her daddy’s nose (or mommy’s nose). Ask her “where’s her toes”? then she’ll put her one foot up and point her toes.
She has discovered a lot of things to explore and learn. And oh, before I forget she’s starting to stand on her own now, without holding onto a chair or any other support. So, probably in a couple weeks she will be walking and ready to explore the world. We can’t wait!
