Aaliyah is 6 weeks old today. We can see her responding to us a little more now. She will crack a smile if we entertain her in just the right way.

We are on a road trip up the California coast. Here we are stopping for dinner in Solvang, a Danish town in the Santa Ynez valley. This was about 30 minutes before the earthquake hit off the coast of Northen California. We didn’t feel anything.

We made it up to Pismo Beach today and tomorrow we’ll drive up to Monterey.
